Matt joined Sweetwater in 2021 and serves as a Fund Controller on the finance team. A proven operator, he plays a central role in overseeing financial operations, strengthening internal controls, and ensuring compliance with accounting and regulatory standards. Beyond day-to-day execution, Matt partners with senior leadership to provide insights that guide investment decisions, capital allocation, and long-term strategic planning. Prior to joining Sweetwater, Matt built a strong foundation in private equity and venture capital fund operations at Standish Management, a leading fund administration firm. He holds a B.S. in Business Administration with a Finance concentration from St. Mary’s College of California.
