Brent joined Sweetwater in 2025 as a Managing Director and Head of Research. Prior to joining Sweetwater, Brent accumulated 20 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, and technology. At JPMorgan and Wells Fargo Securities, he advised industry-leading companies and financial sponsors across tech, media, telecom, and fintech sectors, executing over $100b of M&A transactions. As founder and CEO of two venture-backed tech companies, he led strategy, business development, and capital raising, scaling AI-driven software solutions. Prior to that, Brent managed private equity and venture capital investments at Portfolio Advisors. He holds an MBA and a BA in Philosophy & Mathematical Logic from Brigham Young University.
