Gregg joined Sweetwater in 2018 and is a Partner and a member of the firm’s investment committee. Gregg is a proven executive with a distinctive, strategic combination of visionary leadership and business acumen. He has been instrumental in building multimillion-dollar businesses. Gregg has over 25 years of portfolio management and financial market experience. Prior to Sweetwater, He launched Dorado Capital Management (DCM). The hedge fund grew to over $350 million AUM. DCM was acquired by JLF Asset Management where he remained as a managing partner. In 2013, he went into the private sector as CEO of Events.com, a SaaS software startup. Under his tenure, the value of the business grew tenfold, and the company remains a leader in the endurance industry. Gregg has been featured on the cover of Investor’s Business Daily, CBS MarketWatch, The Wall Street Transcript, and Barron’s. Gregg holds an MBA from the Marshall School of Business at USC and graduated with a B.S. in Finance from SDSU.
